Mirror Imaging™ software has been a feature of my consultation process for facial rejuvenation procedures for years. I have found that showing you your image with the changes we have discussed allows us to create mutually attainable goals. I will listen carefully to you, examine you and make recommendations based upon your discussed priorities. Your digital photographs are then obtained for review and study. These photographs can be “morphed” or modified in order to simulate the outcome after swelling has subsided and healing has occurred. Your pictures in several views can be shown next to the digitally changed photographs for side-by-side comparison. My ability to obtain a surgical result is then discussed in the context of your features compared with the results seen in the before and after photographs of other actual patients with similar concerns who have already healed. In this combined method, you will be educated about the architectural features of your face and the results you wish to obtain. Many patients remark that they can see their own areas of concern in the photographs of others, and are reassured that the proposed facial rejuvenation procedures will address those concerns.
