LipoSelection only by VASER combines patented technologies with advanced surgical techniques to sculpt the body and remove unwanted fat deposits. The LipoSelection procedure uses ultrasonic energy to break up fat while leaving surrounding tissue - such as nerves, blood vessels, and connective tissue - relatively intact. Think of the fat cells as water balloons and the other tissues as basketballs.  The ultrasonic energy from the 3 mm titanium Vaser wand is passed under the skin and creates a shock wave that breaks the water balloons (destroys the fat cell) and keeps the basketballs intact.  The liquefied fat is then massaged out of the small incisions and by aspirating the rest with a specialized cannula called Ventex technology.   By minimizing damage to other tissue, patients report highly satisfactory results, including smooth contours and low to minimal pain.  My practice is the first one in Ohio to introduce this technology into use and I have been very satisfied with the patient outcomes.
