PATIENT DETAILS:

This 23-year-old woman who heard about my practice from her friends both at Kent state and her friends in Ashtabula county. She was finishing her college degree and wanted to have her augmentation during one of her midterm breaks. She smoked a few cigarettes a day but agreed to cut down before and after surgery so she would reduce her risks of bleeding, infection and scar problems. She is so happy with her new look! While still recovering she was able to continue to work as a waitress and go to school! At two days post-operativley she said she felt like she had a hard workout yesterday. Within a week she was wearing a sports bra daily and was in the bra size she shopped for preoperatively. She finished school that semester and was on her way in her teaching career.

As you can see this Cleveland area professional has some slight breast fold asymmetry. Her left fold is slightly lower than the right one preoperatively. I always want to point out these small differences in each person before surgery. My staff and I take time to make sure the individual procedure for you is thoroughly reviewed before we go to the operaing room. I lowered the right fold to achieve a little better symmetry. Her implants are saline 275cc implants filled to 300cc. They are placed in the submuscular position and they move naturally and look natural for this patient. She has normal nipple sensation from the first day. Her subcuticular suture came out of the fold incision on the eighth postoperative day.

Here is the oblique view of this 23-year-old future educator from the Mentor area. She has 275cc round smooth saline filled implants filled to 300cc's under the muscle. The incision under her fold is imperceptable. When she contemplated these implants the silicone cohesive implants were only available for women who needed a lift or a breast reconstruction. She loves her saline implants. She feels so much more confident and sexy. When she goes shopping she feels that she can now select and wear the clothing she's always wanted. She is four years postoperative now and still loves her saline implants. They feel just like they are her own breasts, and except for her yearly surveillance examinations, she doesn't give them any thought about being there. They are so much a part of her!
