- Today’s facelift, known as a rhytidectomy, is more natural-looking, and longer lasting than ever before. By removing lax skin, repositioning and reducing fat deposits, and tightening muscles, a facelift may give your face a more youthful, rested appearance.
- A brow lift is a popular procedure, especially for men and women wishing to smooth wrinkles and return a more rested, youthful look to their foreheads. Brow lift surgery can be achieved through small incisions, hidden within the hairline.
- Because the nose is the most defining characteristic of the face, rhinoplasty can greatly enhance your facial harmony by making slight alterations. Nose reshaping, or rhinoplasty, can change nose size and width, contour the nasal tip and nostrils, and correct impaired breathing.
- Another procedure that can bring balance to the face is soft tissue augmentation. By inserting implants, Dr. Vanek may be able to strengthen your jawline, or bring out your chin and cheekbones. Patients choose implants to reshape the face, or to fill out a face that appears sunken.
- If you have excess skin that hides the natural contour of your eye, or impairs vision, Dr. Vanek may recommend eyelid surgery. This procedure, called blepharoplasty, can be performed on either the lower or upper eyelids—or both, for a more balanced correction.
- Otoplasty, also known as ear pinning surgery, is an effective choice for setting prominent ears closer to the head. In most cases, Dr. Vanek performs ear surgery as an outpatient procedure, giving remarkable results with little downtime for the patient.
